Home Remedies to cure Dandruff
There are many home remedies that you can use on a daily basis and this will help you get rid of dandruff permanently. However, in order to get this, you need to bring certain ingredients ready and blend it in an appropriate manner. Once this is done, there is a prescribed way to apply it and this will help you get rid of those flakes. below following list of home remedies that will help you get rid of dandruff completely.
Tea Tree Oil
Tea Tree Oil has anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory properties, which reduces inflammation, itchiness and greasiness, Tea tree oil effectively fight against the specific strain of fungus that can cause both seborrhea dermatitis and dandruff.
Procedure: Add approx. 6 to 10 drops of tea tree oil to your shampoo bottle and shake well before use. Rinse your hair well after shampoo and dry your hair.
Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera has antibacterial and anti-fungal properties, which help to reduces skin irritation and decrease dandruff symptoms. Aloe Vera has a moisturizing effect.
Procedure: Apply Aloe Vera gel or cream, directly on your scalp and kept up to 30-45 minutes and then rinse your hair with shampoo and dry your hair.
Apple Cider Vinegar
Procedure: Add equal amount of apple cider vinegar into water and keep it aside. After washing your hair, apply the mix to your wet hair and gently massage your hair with the mix and leave it for 10-15 minutes and then rinse it off.
Note: You can do this every time when you have a head shower. Also, keep in mind that you simply cannot excessively use apple vinegar over your hair and this suggests that don't apply it on a daily basis. Once every two-three days is the best way to use this home remedy for fighting dandruff.
Coconut oil
Coconut oil has antimicrobial and anti-fungal properties. It hydrates our scalp and prevents
dryness and flakiness.
Procedure: Apply coconut oil, directly on your scalp and kept up to 45-60 minutes and then rinse your hair with shampoo and dry your hair.
Baking Soda
Baking Soda has anti-fungal properties and may reduced itching and skin irritation.
Procedure: Take handful amount of baking soda and apply directly on your scalp, rub rigorously 4-6 min, then rinse your hair. Repeat session for few times, at last your scalp will start producing natural oils thereby making your hair look softer and devoid of dry flakes.
Egg Yolk
It contain vitamin B7 (Biotin), which is used to treat dandruff, and it also act as a conditioner for your hair.
Procedure: You will have to remove white layer around the yolk i.e yellow. Yolk is more beneficial than a white layer. Directly apply yolk on your scalp, cover your hair with cap/plastic bag and leave it for an hour, thereafter wash your hair with shampoo. Repeat session for few more times to remove the bad odour.
Neem
Neem has Anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory properties which help to prevent and treat dandruff
Procedure: First you will have to make Neem juice or Neem paste, which can be applied to your scalp and leave it for few hours or up to dry. Wash your hair with shampoo or you can also use boiled neem leave in water during rinse your hair.
Fenugreek seeds (Methi seeds)
Fenugreek seeds are rich is protein, which prevent hair fall and dandruff. They also strengthen our hair roots and moisturize our scalp.
Procedure: First you need to put few fenugreek seeds in a small water bowl and leave it for overnight. Overnight soaked seeds, make it paste with help of lemon juice thereby apply on the scalp and hair, leave for 15-20 minutes and then wash your hair by using shampoo.
Other hygiene care
Cleansing: Massage your scalp thoroughly with your fingertips when rinse with shampoo. This will help loosen and remove any dead skin flakes and help prevent the infection from continuing.
Conditioning: Use hair condition on the ends of hair shampooing. which give hydrated and nourish to the hair.
Brushing: Brushing your hair thoroughly on a day to day will help loosen and take away dead skin flakes and increases blood supply to the hair follicles.
Massage: Massaging your scale 1-3 times in a week, which will stimulate blood supply to the hair follicles and help loosen the dead skin flakes.
Note: Use your own comb to brush your hair, Do not comb your hair using other hairbrush, and make sure you clean your hair 2-3 times in a week. Regular cleansing your hair will prevent the dandruff.
